The allure of the seas led Ben to move to the Cornish coast after a decade in London. It’s sent him down a path of exploring more and more of the UK’s coastlines, whether that be with his DSLR in hand or his 1970’s Polaroid.

He is a published photographer, who’s long infatuation with the sea is mirrored through his semi-long exposure photography. Photography has always been his pursuit of joy which offers endless directional ways to capture the ever changing tides of the Atlantic.

His works are all professionally printed on beautiful museum-grade textured Fine Art Giclée paper with Hahnemühle German Etching. This gives the imagery a stunning fine-art painting like effect and provides a guaranteed archival quality for 100+ years. In addition this form of printing removes the gloss and glare that traditional print work has, meaning that light is absorbed by the works rather than reflected. The overall effect of this is that these works have a more absorbing and immersive feel to them
